Residents in Kano State have reportedly torn down the image
of President Bola Tinubu from a political campaign billboard, leaving the
portrait of Governor Abba Yusuf untouched.
A video circulating on social media shows the section of the
billboard bearing Tinubu’s photograph apparently ripped off, while Yusuf’s
image and those of other political figures remain visible.
The incident has attracted attention online, with the
selective removal of the President’s portrait prompting reactions and
speculation about the motive behind the action.
