Jimmy Odukoya, senior pastor of Fountain of Life Church, introduced his new partner to his congregation on Sunday.
During the church service, the actor-turned-cleric invited his partner, identified as Mo, to the altar while describing her as “flesh of my flesh, bone of my bone, my left and right ribs, my sure guy”.
“Ever since I became your pastor, I have been doing this work of life alone, and the Bible says it isn’t good. So, when I saw her, I said, ‘This is the flesh of my flesh, bone of my bone, my left and right ribs, my sure guy’. Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce to you for the first time, Pastor Mrs Mo Odukoya. Your first lady, my wife,” he said.
The public unveiling came a few hours after Odukoya hinted at the relationship in an Instagram post, where he shared a photograph of his hand and his fiancée’s, both wearing rings, with the caption, “To new beginnings”.
The marriage will be the cleric’s second, following the end of his previous marriage to Oluwakemi Sade Banjoko.
The couple married in London in March 2013 and had two children before their separation.
In September 2023, Jimmy Odukoya became senior pastor at Fountain of Life Church.
He succeeded Taiwo Odukoya, his father, who died in August 2023.
