The Director-General of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, APC-PCC, Abdulaziz Yari has expressed optimism that President Bola Tinubu will be re-elected in 2027.
Yari said the same God who gave Tinubu victory in the 2023
presidential election will do it again in 2027.
Speaking with newsmen in Mecca, Saudi Arabia where he joined
President Tinubu and other Nigerians to perform Umrah, the lesser Hajj, Yari
said Tinubu's trust in God and his achievements will give him victory in
January 2027.
He spoke shortly after President Tinubu, during a media chat
in Saudi Arabia on Friday, said he trusts God for his second term in office.
Yari also praised Tinubu for praying for Nigeria and its
citizens, describing it as a mark of true leadership.
"That's what makes a leader. He first prayed for the
country, prayed for every Nigerian, and noted that God selects leaders.
"God did it in 2023, He will do it again. Tinubu
depends on Allah to do it for him as He did in 2023," Yari stated.
