Cristiano Ronaldo has been suspended by the Portuguese Football Federation, according to the UK Mirror.
It is punishment for the 41-year-old walking out of the
national team camp after his explosive fallout with head coach Jorge Jesus.
This suspension has been automatically triggered under
federation rules.
It is understood that a disciplinary council will now sit to
decide the length of his ban.
Ronaldo is facing a ban of one to six months.
Despite publicly apologising, Ronaldo admitted he deserved
to be punished for his actions.
