United States President, Donald Trump, has warned France to take urgent measures to address immigration, claiming that the influx of migrants from different cultural backgrounds has contributed to unrest in the European country.
Trump issued the warning in a post on his Truth Social
platform on Sunday, urging the French government to close its borders and
regain control of the situation.
“France is burning! The immigration of people from an
entirely different world, people with hatred in their hearts, has shattered
that once great country. Close your Borders and take control, before it is too
late! President DONALD J. TRUMP,” he wrote.
The comments reflect Trump's longstanding hardline stance on
immigration, which has featured prominently in his domestic and foreign policy
agenda.
He has repeatedly advocated stricter border controls and
mass deportations, arguing that uncontrolled migration poses security and
cultural challenges.
