The Nigeria Police Force Headquarters has transferred Adeniyi Mathew Adeyemi, the self-styled Director-General of the purported Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), to the Federal High Court in Abuja for arraignment on criminal charges.
Adeyemi, dressed in a white outfit and matching white shoes, was escorted to court by operatives of the Cybercrime Centre under Force Headquarters.
Fully armed plain-clothes security personnel moved him into the courtroom under tight security. He is scheduled to appear before Justice Mohammed Garba Umar on Wednesday.
Prosecutors are pursuing a case marked FHC/ABJ/CR/562/2025 against Adeyemi on allegations including forgery and impersonation.
He was earlier arrested in Osogbo, Osun State capital, and has remained in police custody since then.At the time of the report, Adeyemi was held under heavy security on the fourth floor of the court building awaiting his appearance before the judge.
