Man who accused Michael Jackson of s^xual abuse to be grilled under oath Sept 14

James Safechuck, one of the two men who accused late pop star Michael Jackson of childhood s^xual abuse, is set to be questioned under oath on September 14.

Safechuck and Wade Robson have alleged that Jackson abused them while they were minors at his Neverland Ranch.

According to court documents, obtained by TMZ, Safechuck, 48, will be grilled alongside Stephanie Safechuck, his mother, whose testimony is considered crucial given her claims about how close her family was to the singer.

James is scheduled to sit for a deposition on September 14 while his mother is slated to be questioned over October 15 and 20.

Stephanie featured in the 2019 documentary ‘Leaving Neverland,’ where she recounted how Jackson became close to her family after meeting her nine-year-old son at a television commercial shoot.

She described the singer’s attention as “a fairytale” that she became swept up in.

She said she and her husband eventually allowed James to sleep in Jackson’s room which, she claimed, was when the abuse began.

Stephanie said she later asked her son whether anything inappropriate had happened, but he denied it at the time.

Jackson faced multiple s^xual abuse allegations during the 1990s and for years after his death in 2009.

In 2020, a Los Angeles judge ruled against Safechuck, saying he could not sue Jackson’s businesses. The same judge ruled against Robson on similar grounds the following year.

In 2023, however, a California appeal court ruled that both accusers could revive their lawsuits against Jackson’s company.
