Isaac Fayose, the younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, has criticised Nigerians living in London who support President Bola Tinubu.
In a video posted on his verified Facebook page, Fayose questioned why such supporters remain abroad if the President’s performance is as positive as they claim.
He noted that many of those campaigning for Tinubu’s re-election have family members living overseas.“If Tinubu is doing so well, what are you doing here in the UK, looking for papers for yourself and your family?” he asked.
Fayose further claimed that the President himself rarely stays in Nigeria for more than three months without travelling abroad for medical treatment and rest.
He pointed to conditions in Lagos hospitals and said 71 per cent of the population has fallen into poverty. “Go to hospitals in Lagos, you will pity the people there... and you are there in the UK or the US saying it’s Tinubu. Why are you not in Nigeria with your family?” he added.
