Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has thrown his weight behind the 2027 House of Representatives bid of human rights lawyer Pelumi Olajengbesi.
In an Instagram story posted on Tuesday, Davido described Olajengbesi as “My other project” and declared him a “100% winning ticket.”
Olajengbesi served as convener of the Imole Grassroots Mobilisation Network in Osun State and as campaign spokesman for Governor Ademola Adeleke’s successful re-election in the August 15, 2026, Osun governorship election.
After the poll, Davido also publicly thanked him on X for his contributions to the campaign’s victory.Olajengbesi is seeking to represent the Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency under the Accord Party.
If successful, he would challenge the incumbent, Wole Oke of the All Progressives Congress, who has held the seat for 24 years.
