TG Omori, the Nigerian music video director, and socialite Rahman Jago have reacted to the rumoured arrest of Poco Lee, the dancer, over s*xual assault allegations.
Recently, reports have circulated that the Nigerian dancer
was remanded in London over an alleged rape. However, the London Metropolitan
Police has yet to confirm the reports.
In separate posts via X on Monday, Omori and Jago, two
associates of Poco Lee, reacted to the reports, seemingly giving credence to
the rumours.
Omori expressed sadness over Poco Lee’s situation,
describing him as one of the kindest people he had ever met.
“It breaks my heart to hear Poco Lee in this sort of mess.
That’s the purest soul I have ever met. The devil really works overtime,” he
wrote.
In his post, Jago described the situation as “serious and
painful”, saying he believes “there is more to this situation than what people
may have heard”.
He described Poco Lee as a cheerful person who needs support
during this difficult period, while praying that God knows the truth.
“Seeing my brother go through such a serious and painful
situation is heartbreaking. I know the person he is, and I truly believe there
is more to this situation than what people may have heard, this is not the time
to chase clout, we all know Poco to be a joy giver and this is when he needs us
the most. May we never be in a situation where only God is our witness,” the
post reads.
