National leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Seriake Dickson, has described his meeting with the party’s state chairmen from the North-West zone as “very fruitful.”
In a post on his verified X account, the former Bayelsa State governor said the gathering reviewed preparations for campaigns aimed at securing victory for all NDC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
Dickson urged party members, supporters and stakeholders to work together in the collective interest of the party to ensure success for its candidates.
“It was a pleasure to host a strategic meeting of the national leadership of our party with the State chairmen of the North-West Zone, a very critical region in the politics of our country,” he wrote.
“I commend the leaders of the zone led by our Vice Presidential candidate, His Excellency Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, for their commitment and readiness to work for the success of our party.
“The discussions were fruitful, and we remain confident that victory is achievable.”
The NDC’s presidential and vice-presidential candidates for the 2027 elections are former Anambra State governor Peter Obi and former Kano State governor Rabi’u Kwankwaso, respectively.
