Reverse Buhari’s Discriminatory Legacy Against South-East - Ejimakor Urges Tinubu

Aloy Ejimakor, Special Counsel to Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader Nnamdi Kanu, has called on President Bola Tinubu to reverse what he described as the late former President Muhammadu Buhari’s discriminatory legacy in the South-East.

Ejimakor made the appeal on Friday in response to Yoruba Nation activist Sunday Igboho’s launch of the Eru Ekun Security Network in the South-West.

Igboho unveiled the group, which drew more than 15,000 members, to combat insecurity in the region.

According to Ejimakor, the development highlights the injustice in the proscription of IPOB and its Eastern Security Network (ESN).

In a post on X, he wrote: “Igboho’s launch of Iru Ekun Security Network yesterday in Ogun State which drew more than 15K members underscores the grave injustice in the proscription of IPOB/ESN and validates the urgent need for Tinubu to reverse Buhari’s legacy of discriminatory law enforcement in South-East.”

Ejimakor accused the Buhari administration of practising discriminatory law enforcement in the South-East and urged Tinubu to address the imbalance.
