Petroleum marketers have received fresh cargoes of petrol and diesel at major coastal terminals in Lagos and Warri, helping to replenish inventories.
According to the latest tanker position report monitored by Petroleumprice.ng, several vessels carrying petrol and diesel have either discharged or are scheduled to berth at terminals in the two cities.
Lagos remained the busiest receiving hub, with cargoes scheduled at Petroleum Wharf Apapa, Stockgap, Ibafon, Rain Oil and other terminals.
Among the petrol shipments, the vessel Bora, carrying 20,000 metric tonnes, arrived on August 12. It was scheduled to load at the Dangote Petroleum Refinery before discharging at Stockgap in Port Harcourt, with Pivot Energy as the receiver.
LIAN XI LU, with 33,000 MT of petrol, arrived on August 12 and was due to berth at AIPEC. Glencore and Bono are listed as receivers.ST Lady Doyin, carrying 37,000 MT of petrol, arrived on August 10 and berthed at Bovas on August 12.
It is expected to discharge part of its cargo there, with the balance also going to Bovas.Brands Hatch, with 61,000 MT of petrol, arrived on August 11 and berthed at Pinnacle on August 12. BP Oil is the receiver.
In Warri, Princess Oge, carrying 15,000 MT of petrol loaded at the Dangote refinery, arrived on August 10 and berthed at RainOil on August 11. Matrix Pride, also with 15,000 MT of petrol, arrived on August 5 and was scheduled to berth at Matrix, with Matrix Energy as receiver.
Fresh diesel supplies were also recorded. Bise, carrying 13,000 MT of diesel, arrived on August 11 and was discharging at Petroleum Wharf Apapa for NIPCO.
ELLIE M II, with 11,000 MT of diesel loaded at Dangote, arrived on August 10 and was due to berth at Ibafon for 2015 Petroleum and Bucoh Energy.Oluwajuwonlo, carrying 20,000 MT of automotive gas oil (AGO), arrived on August 10 and berthed at Rain Oil on August 12 after loading at Sabeck.
ST WALGA, with 20,000 MT of diesel, arrived on August 12 and is expected to load at Dangote before discharging at AA Rano in Lagos.
Hudson, carrying 20,000 MT of diesel and 5,000 MT of aviation turbine kerosene, is also expected to load at Dangote before discharging at Emadeb for Octavus.Additional LPG cargoes arrived in Lagos.
Alfred Temile, with 13,000 MT of LPG from the Nigeria LNG facility in Bonny, berthed at Bulk Oil Petroleum on August 11 for NNPC. Eco Arctic, carrying 8,000 MT of LPG, berthed at Navgas on August 10.
The vessel movements are expected to improve short-term product availability in the Lagos and Warri markets.
