Afrobeats star, Davido, has criticized Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, over remarks he made during the All Progressives Congress (APC) mega rally ahead of the August 15 Osun governorship election.
At the rally, AbdulRazaq urged Osun voters to elect a governor who could “go to Aso Rock and attract good things” to the state, emphasizing the importance of having direct access to President Bola Tinubu.
Responding on his verified X handle, Davido blasted the governor, claiming his closeness to the presidency had only worsened insecurity in Kwara.
He wrote:“Your accessibility to the President or the Villa brought nothing but insecurity to Kwarans. These so-called leaders are watery.”
The exchange adds a dramatic twist to the heated political atmosphere surrounding the Osun governorship race.
