Veteran Nigerian actor and musician, Harry B Anyanwu, has appealed to Nollywood colleagues and the public to support actress Maureen Okpoko, who reportedly lost her sight several years ago.
In a video shared on X on Monday, Anyanwu revealed that Okpoko requires financial assistance to access treatment that could help restore her vision. He said he was with the actress in Enugu State and urged the film industry to rally around her.

The veteran actor further called on actors, actresses, and well-meaning Nigerians to contribute towards Okpoko’s treatment, stressing that collective support could give her the opportunity to regain her sight and return to good health.
