Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has taken to social media to express his distress after falling victim to a major real estate scam in Lagos, losing his entire savings of $4 million.
During an emotional Instagram Live session, the musician revealed that he recently discovered he had been defrauded.
He purchased a property that did not actually belong to the seller, who has since vanished following the transaction.
“I’ve got nothing left,” Bella lamented while appealing to Nigerians for assistance. “Nigeria, I need your help. I am not okay right now. I lost $4 million of my hard earned money to buy stolen property. The seller has disappeared. Please, help me. Someone steps in. I just contacted my lawyer for further investigation.”
The artist stated that he has engaged his legal team to investigate the matter and pursue justice. As of now, there has been no official confirmation or police statement regarding the incident.
