NDC Will Win 2027 Election If Free and FairIsaac Fayose, younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, has declared that the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) would secure victory in the 2027 presidential election if the process is conducted freely and fairly.
Fayose made the statement in a Facebook post on Sunday, responding to remarks by Lere Olayinka, media aide to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, who claimed he lacked electoral value in Ekiti State.
Challenging that assertion, Fayose accused political opponents of relying on vote-buying and intimidation rather than genuine popularity.
“If you think I don’t have electoral value in Ekiti State, why are you rigging? Why are you buying votes as much as N50,000? Why are you arresting my boys a week before the Ekiti governorship election?”
He insisted that in a transparent contest, the NDC would emerge victorious well before midday.“If they call election today, NDC will win before 12 noon if the elections were free and fair.
The only power you people have over us is rigging, and the people are quiet,” Fayose said.
