Human rights activist and former Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) senatorial aspirant for the Federal Capital Territory, Aisha Yesufu, has warned Nigerians that any vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 elections amounts to supporting the continuation of terrorism in the country.
Yesufu made the statement on Sunday via her verified X handle, citing the worsening insecurity marked by killings and abductions nationwide.
She urged Nigerians aged 18 and above to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), stressing that the “miracle” citizens have been praying for lies in their ability to vote.
“Any vote for APC is vote for these terrorists to continue what they are doing,” she declared, reiterating her call for active civic participation.
Yesufu, co-convener of the BringBackOurGirls Movement, has long been outspoken on governance and accountability, and her latest remarks reflect growing public frustration with insecurity ahead of the 2027 polls.
