Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), Dr. Paul Enenche, has criticized what he described as the “irresponsibility” of some Nigerians who trivialize serious national issues by engaging with criminal elements online.
Speaking during a mid-week service in Abuja, Enenche expressed shock that individuals participated in a social media giveaway allegedly organized by a suspected bandit, even submitting their account details.
Reports revealed that one participant claimed he was offered ₦100,000 by the bandit, only for the criminal to later demand ₦100 million from him.
Leading prayers for the nation, Enenche lamented that Nigerians were making jokes out of devastating realities.
“I heard that people are canvassing for bandits to send them money, and you collect blood money knowing it is from someone’s blood?” he asked.
He further criticized the culture of impunity, noting that electoral irregularities and judicial failures often go unchecked. “If the electoral commission declares anything, no consequence. If the judiciary miscarries justice, nothing happens,” he added.
Enenche urged Nigerians to reject such irresponsible attitudes and remain committed to values that uphold justice, accountability, and national integrity.
