The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now print their official original result slips.
According to a statement issued on Wednesday by JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin, the original result slips which include candidates’ photographs, national ranking, and other vital security features became available for printing within two hours of the announcement.
“The 2026 UTME Original Result Slip will be available for printing within the next two hours today, Wednesday, 17th June, 2026,” the statement said.
It further noted that the document is an essential official requirement for post-UTME screening and admission processing by tertiary institutions. Candidates are advised to print their slips conveniently from any internet-enabled device, whether at home, in the office, or at accredited business centres.
JAMB urged candidates to carefully check the details on their printed slips and keep multiple copies safe for future use in the admission process.
The 2026 UTME main examinations were held in April, followed by a mop-up examination on June 13 for candidates affected by technical or biometric issues. Mop-up results were released on Tuesday, June 16.
The release of the printable original slips had been delayed to allow for the completion of foreign-based examinations and the mop-up round. This development now paves the way for candidates to fully participate in the 2026/2027 admission cycle, as many institutions have started or are preparing to begin their post-UTME processes.
