Ekiti PDP Candidate Oluyede Slams APC Over “Worst Primaries Ever”Ekiti State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Oluwole Oluyede, has sharply criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing its recent primary election in the state as the “worst in the history of democracy.”
Speaking during an interview on Arise Television, Oluyede alleged that the APC primaries left the party divided and the state in disarray.
“The APC conducted a bad primaries and the party is torn apart. They thought PDP was dead in the state, but we have shown that we remain a cohesive force,” he said.
Oluyede further argued that the PDP has historically been the only government to deliver meaningful performance in Ekiti, while the current administration under Governor Biodun Oyebanji is, in his words, “the worst performing government.”
He added that citizens are weary of “an inept and inactive government that hasn’t really done anything for its people,” insisting that even without a strong challenger, Governor Oyebanji would still lose re-election due to public dissatisfaction.
