Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) host, and his wife, Cynthia Obi-Uchendu, are set to welcome their third child together.
Cynthia took to her Instagram page on Sunday to announce
that she is pregnant, sharing an emotional reflection on her motherhood journey
and her excitement about the newest addition to their family.
“Yup! Seven years later, and we’re here again. That’s 10
years since my first rodeo…,” she wrote.
She admitted that despite having gone through pregnancy
before, the new experience had been far from familiar.
“It’s so interesting how you think experience makes things
easier or more familiar, but they never lied when they said every pregnancy is
different,” she wrote.
“I’m just beyond grateful to God for being my guide through
this journey because omo, what a journey it has been.”
Explaining why this third pregnancy feels particularly
special, Cynthia shared her long-held belief that the best things come in
threes.
“Life is about 1) the beginning, 2) the journey and 3) the
end,” she wrote.
“With shapes, one stands alone, two are parallel lines, but
three points form an actual shape. A triangle. A unit.
“Even the Bible talks about the Holy Trinity. So, I guess
third time’s truly a charm.”
She expressed gratitude to her daughters — Jewel and Rubi —
who have embraced the idea of a new sibling with even more enthusiasm than she
expected.
Cynthia also appreciated Ebuka for his support throughout
the pregnancy, joking that he would soon be back to changing diapers.
“I’m beyond thankful for JEWEL and RUBI who have been even
more excited than me about a new sibling,” she wrote.
“And for le boo EBUKA who’s been a proper solid rock. I know
you thought you were done changing diapers sha (you are old) lol.”
“Don’t worry, at least the fab five is now complete. Or is
it?”
The lovebirds got engaged in April 2015 after dating for a
while and tied the knot on February 6, 2016.
The media personality recently renewed his marital vows to Cynthia in Vatican City to mark their 10th wedding anniversary.
