Amaka Okeke, the woman accused by Sandra Onyenuchenuya, Frank Edoho’s estranged wife, of having an affair with the TV host, has threatened legal action over the allegation.
Last year, Edoho revealed that his marriage to Sandra ended
in December 2022, an experience he described as “devastating”.
On Tuesday, the media personality said he was gradually
moving on from the failed marriage and appreciated those who had reached out
with prayers, concern and kind words.
Following the breakup, rumours also surfaced alleging that
Sandra had cheated on Edoho with a Nigerian singer.
However, Sandra addressed the rumours, accusing the TV host
of being involved in multiple affairs during their marriage and mentioned names
of women he allegedly had relationships with.
Okeke’s name was among those mentioned.
In a recent Instagram post, Okeke, the executive director of
business development at Optiva Capital Partner, denied the allegation,
describing it as “false, malicious and baseless”.
She said she only met Edoho in 2024 for business-related
reasons and that they became friends in 2025 while he was dealing with a
personal issue.
Okeke also urged people to stop spreading unverified claims
while revealing that her legal team would take action over the matter.
“Over the past few hours, my name has been wrongly linked to
false and baseless allegations currently circulating online. For clarity, Frank
Edoho and I met in 2024 on strictly business related matters and only became
good friends in May 2025 when he was dealing with a personal matter which I
will not bring up here for privacy reasons,” she wrote.
“Any narrative beyond this is completely untrue. I am deeply
disappointed to see my name attached to narratives that are malicious,
baseless, and entirely inaccurate.
“I kindly ask that people refrain from spreading unverified
claims that may harm individuals, families, and reputations.
“I remain focused on my work and will not be engaging
further on this matter. My legal team have been informed accordingly and will
take action in due course. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with
support.”
Edoho was previously married to broadcaster Katherine
Obiang, with whom he shares three children. Their marriage ended in 2010 after
seven years together.
In 2013, the former host of ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ (WWTBAM) married Sandra. The duo welcomed their first child in 2014 and a second child in 2016.
