Troops of the Joint Task Force North East, Operation HADIN KAI, under Operation DESERT SANITY, have rescued additional kidnapped victims, eliminated terrorists, and arrested suspected terrorist collaborators across the theatre.
In a statement, the Media Information Officer of Operation Hadin Kai, Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba, said that during a clearance operation along the Mandara Mountains axis, troops acting on credible intelligence raided a suspected terrorist crossing point at Amuda–Gava.
The troops successfully rescued six abducted women and children from the Ngoshe community who were being held captive by Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists.
With this latest rescue, the total number of women and children rescued following the March 3, 2026 attack on Ngoshe community has now reached 60.
The statement added that troops also eliminated terrorists in Konduga Local Government Area and arrested suspected terrorist collaborators in the Konduga and Yobe State axes.
Specifically, an operation at Bazamri village in Konduga LGA resulted in the elimination of two Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists.
