A prominent PDP chieftain, Dan Ulasi, has challenged President Bola Tinubu to give a national broadcast explaining the status of his 2023 campaign promises.
Speaking on Arise Television’s Morning Show on Wednesday, Ulasi urged the President to clearly state which promises have been fulfilled, which are ongoing, and why others remain unfulfilled.
“Governing may look different from the outside, but citizens have a right to know why certain promises have not been met,” he said.
Ulasi lamented that many Nigerians have now become “genetically used to non-performance” and have adapted to government failure by focusing on personal survival rather than depending on the state.
He added that the government is failing in basic responsibilities such as paying teachers’ salaries, providing water, and ensuring food security, describing Nigeria’s problems as “multifarious.”
The remarks reflect growing opposition criticism of the Tinubu administration more than three years into its tenure.
