Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Friday received a delegation from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) at Lagos House, Marina, as part of efforts to attract strategic investments into the state.
The Governor welcomed Harry Boyd-Carpenter, Managing Director of the Sustainable Infrastructure Group at EBRD, alongside Hamza Al-Assad, Director and Head of Nigeria at the EBRD, and members of their team on a courtesy visit.
Sanwo-Olu and the EBRD team held discussions focused on sustainable development, exploring opportunities for deeper collaboration that will accelerate Lagos’ growth and enhance the quality of life for residents.
In a statement after the meeting, the Governor emphasised the need for strategic partnerships to unlock the state’s potential.
“To bridge the gap between our current reality and our immense potential, we need partnerships that will help us build a more resilient and forward-looking Lagos,” Sanwo-Olu said.
The engagement shows the Lagos State Government’s continued drive to forge international alliances in infrastructure, sustainability, and economic development.
