Former Rivers State Governor and ex-Minister of Transportation, His Excellency Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, has formally picked the presidential nomination form of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The form was collected on his behalf at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja by Chief John Oyegun, former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Oyegun was accompanied by several prominent figures including former Minister of Environment, Mohammed Abdullahi; Senator Nura Abatemi; Hon. Asita; Ike Bishop Okoronkwo, CEO of Bishop Plus Media Services, and other notable political stakeholders.
Amaechi’s decision to pick the ADC form signals his formal entry into the 2027 presidential contest on the platform of the African Democratic Congress.
