Buba Galadima, a close political ally of former Kano Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has revealed that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has zoned its presidential ticket for the 2027 general election to the southern part of Nigeria.
Galadima disclosed this while featuring as a guest on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme on Monday.
He added that the party is set to formally submit its membership register to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Monday or Tuesday (May 5 or 6).
The revelation comes as political parties intensify preparations and positioning ahead of the 2027 elections.
