Traditional rulers from the Kwara North Senatorial District have expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu, Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership for supporting the zone’s aspiration to produce the next governor of the state in 2027.
Speaking on behalf of the monarchs, the Vice Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Council of Chiefs and Etsu Patigi, Alhaji Ibrahim Umar Bologi II, described the endorsement as a historic and commendable decision that promotes fairness, inclusiveness, and political balance.
"This move has given the people renewed hope, strengthened political harmony, and boosted confidence in the APC at both state and national levels,” the Etsu Patigi said.
He praised Governor AbdulRazaq for his statesmanship and consistent commitment to unity, peace, and equitable development across Kwara State.
The monarchs also commended President Tinubu and the APC for heeding the long-standing call for power rotation to Kwara North, calling it a major milestone in the state’s political history.
The traditional rulers pledged their continued support for peace, unity, and democracy while offering prayers for wisdom, good health, and divine guidance for President Tinubu, Governor AbdulRazaq, and all APC leaders.
