Former Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), Ahmad Tijjani Galadima, has emerged as the winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election in Adamawa State.
Chairman of the election committee, Professor Innocent Bariko, announced the result in Yola on Friday, declaring Galadima the candidate with a landslide victory of 414,444 votes.
Abdulrazak Namdas finished second with 86,004 votes, while the youngest aspirant in the race, Abdurahman Bashir Haske, placed third with 65,424 votes.
The declaration positions Galadima as the APC’s flagbearer for the 2027 governorship election in the state.
