Yusuf Muhammadu Buhari, son of former President Muhammadu Buhari, has declared victory in the All Progressives Congress, APC, primary election for the Sandamu/Daura/Mai’adua Federal Constituency seat in Katsina State.
Buhari, who spoke to DCL Hausa on Saturday, said he won the
contest and urged dissatisfied opponents to seek redress.
“I have won the APC primary election. Those who are not
satisfied should look for a solution themselves,” he said.
According to the primary election result, Hon. Yusuf
Muhammadu Buhari secured 5,849 votes to defeat Hon. Auwal Lawal Daura, who
polled 21 votes.
The election determined the APC candidate for the House of
Representatives seat covering Sandamu, Daura and Mai’adua constituencies.
