Victor Osimhen receives top award in Turkey

 

Victor Osimhen has been named Footballer of the Year at the 72nd Annual Milliyet Sports Awards. The Milliyet Sports Awards is considered one of the most prestigious honours in Turkey.

Osimhen played a key role in Galatasaray’s domestic double last season.

The Nigeria international registered 26 goals and four assists in 30 league appearances for the Yellow and Reds.

The 27-year-old added seven more in the UEFA Europa League, and five in the Turkish Cup.

This season, the striker has contributed 19 goals, and seven assists in 29 appearances across all competitions for Galatasaray.
