Vice President Kashim Shettima on Sunday joined family members, associates, and dignitaries at the Janazah (funeral prayer) for Hajiya Hadiza Attahiru Jega, wife of former INEC Chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega.
The prayer, held yesterday, drew sympathizers from across the country who gathered to pay their last respects and offer prayers for the deceased and her family.
Shettima’s presence highlighted the significance of the occasion, as tributes continued to pour in for the late Hajiya Hadiza, remembered as a devoted wife and respected community figure.
The Janazah was conducted according to Islamic burial rites, with attendees praying for Allah’s mercy on the departed and comfort for the bereaved family.
