Former Deputy President of the 9th Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has formally declared his intention to contest the Delta Central Senatorial District election in 2027 on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Omo-Agege, who represented Delta Central in the Senate from 2015 to 2023 and served as Deputy Senate President between 2019 and 2023, made his ambition known as political activities gradually build ahead of the next election cycle.
The former Deputy Senate President contested the Delta State governorship election in 2023 as the APC candidate. His declaration signals an early start to mobilization in Delta Central as the APC seeks to consolidate its presence in the district.
