First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has unveiled a road project in Kano State as part of efforts to improve infrastructure and ease transportation in the area.
The road was commissioned on Wednesday during her visit to the state. Speaking at the event, the First Lady said the project aligns with the federal government’s commitment to delivering critical infrastructure that supports economic growth and enhances the welfare of citizens.
She commended the state government and stakeholders for their collaboration on the project and urged residents to take ownership of public facilities to ensure their sustainability.
State officials who attended the inauguration said the road will ease traffic congestion, boost commerce, and improve access to key parts of Kano.
The project is one of several infrastructure initiatives being executed across the country under the current administration.
