Alasan Doguwa, member representing Tudun Wada/Doguwa Federal Constituency, has openly admitted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State is facing serious internal challenges.
Speaking to party supporters, Doguwa warned that the party must confront these issues immediately to avoid failure in the 2027 general elections.
“There are pressing problems that require urgent attention,” he said. “Anybody who does not admit there’s a problem in APC in Kano, and does not chart a course for solving it, is probably not ready to win the election.”
The lawmaker stressed the need for unity and collective action, noting that past problems were resolved when party members worked together. He also highlighted ongoing reconciliation efforts, including recent meetings involving Governor Abba Yusuf and other stakeholders aimed at strengthening the party ahead of 2027.
