Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Tuesday night received two prominent Christian leaders at his residence in Abuja for private discussions.
In a statement on his verified X account, Atiku said he hosted Bishop (Dr.) Joseph Stanley and Archbishop (Dr.) Kingsley Oloro, describing the meeting as productive.
“Last night, I received two Christian clerics, Bishop (Dr.) Joseph Stanley and Archbishop (Dr.) Kingsley Oloro, at my residence in Abuja. We engaged in fruitful conversations,” Atiku wrote.
The former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate did not disclose the specific issues discussed during the meeting.
However, such engagements are often viewed as part of broader political consultations and confidence-building efforts ahead of future elections.
Atiku Abubakar has consistently maintained relationships across religious lines as part of his political outreach.
