The All Progressives Congress (APC) will commence the sale of nomination and expression of interest forms for the 2027 general elections on April 25, the party announced Monday.
According to the timetable and schedule of activities released by the ruling party, presidential aspirants are to pay N70 million for the nomination form and N30 million for the expression of interest form, totaling N100 million.
The party also adopted consensus and direct primaries as the modes for selecting candidates across various elective positions.
The schedule outlines key dates for the submission of forms, screening of aspirants, appeals, and primary elections. APC said the early release of the timetable is to give aspirants adequate time to prepare and ensure a transparent process ahead of the 2027 polls.
Further details on fees for gubernatorial, senatorial, House of Representatives, and state assembly aspirants are expected to be contained in the full guidelines.
