Agege APC Declares Full Support for Tinubu, Hamzat


Leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Agege and Orile-Agege, Lagos, have reaffirmed their strong support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat.


The declaration was made at a general meeting of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) Agege, in collaboration with the Justice Forum, held on Tuesday in Agege.


Prominent stakeholders present included the Managing Director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation, Hon. Kayode Opeifa; former House of Representatives member, Dr. Samuel Adejare; former Lagos State House of Assembly member, Hon. Yinka Ogundimu; and PCC Chairman, Sabitu Kamorudeen (Alhaji Komoludeen), among others.


The well-attended meeting served as a platform to reaffirm loyalty to the party’s leadership and strengthen grassroots mobilisation ahead of future elections.


Speaking at the event, the leaders pledged continued support for President Tinubu’s administration and commended his policies. 


Hon. Kayode Opeifa urged party members to gather at Tafawa Balewa Square on May 10 to show solidarity with Tinubu and Hamzat.They also expressed confidence in Deputy Governor Hamzat’s role in sustaining good governance in Lagos State.


The council passed a vote of confidence in the Agege APC structure, describing the area as a reliable stronghold of the party. They called for unity among members and intensified grassroots mobilisation.


In addition, the meeting endorsed Hon. Babatunde Adetunji, the member representing Agege Constituency in the Lagos State House of Assembly, praising his performance and legislative contributions.


The gathering concluded with renewed commitment by party members to sustain APC dominance in Agege and beyond.
