Tijjani Galadima, former Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), has officially declared his intention to contest the 2027 governorship election in Adamawa State.
Galadima, who recently resigned from his federal appointment, is believed to be eyeing the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket.
His entry into the race has generated significant interest, with many viewing him as a strong technocratic contender capable of building on the current administration’s achievements.
Known for his impactful leadership at PTDF, where he facilitated numerous capacity-building programmes in the oil and gas sector, Galadima is expected to leverage his extensive experience in public service and his connections to push for development, particularly in Adamawa Central Senatorial District.
