Asake, the Grammy-nominated Nigerian music star, has surprised his mother with a brand-new G-Wagon G63.
In a now-viral video, the ‘Mr Money’ hitmaker is seen
overflowing with joy as he embraces his mother before presenting her with the
keys to the luxury SUV.
Overcome with emotion, his mother beams with delight as she

The price of the G-Wagon G63 starts at $196,900. Highly
optioned models or special editions can easily exceed over $230,000.
This isn’t the first time the singer and his mother have
made headlines together. In December 2025, the duo paid a visit to Adeyeye
Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, at his royal palace.
During their time at the ancient palace in Ile-Ife, the
revered monarch praised Asake’s mother for being a “steadfast pillar” of
support throughout her son’s journey to stardom.
The Ooni also commended the singer’s team, led by his
manager Lala, for their loyalty, which he said “reflects the true spirit of
Omoluabi” — the Yoruba ethos of integrity and good character.
Last year, Asake responded after his dad publicly accused
Asake of abandonment.
Asake rose to fame in 2020 with his hit song ‘Lady’. The
singer joined YBNL in February 2022.
He has released three studio albums, ‘Mr Money With The
Vibes’ (2022), ‘Work of Art’ (2023) and ‘Lungu Boy’ (2024).
The Grammy-nominated artiste is one of the leading voices in
the Nigerian music industry with a plethora of nominations and awards for his
craft.
The Afrobeats sensation was nominated for this year’s Grammy Awards in the ‘Best African Music Performance’ category. He, however, lost the category to colleague Tems.
The singer recently confirmed that he has relocated to Los Angeles, United States.
