Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, the Nigerian cleric known as Odumeje, has been honoured by the Anambra state police force, zone 13.
The cleric shared a video on Instagram on Tuesday showing
the moment he was recognised during a church service.
The award was presented by Emmanuel Madu, the zonal police
chaplain and a chief superintendent of police.
Madu said the decision followed “careful consideration,”
describing Odumeje as one of the “boldest and most fearless preachers in
Nigeria”.
“We deemed it fit, after careful consideration, to honour
the prophet of our time, a seasoned preacher who is both nationally and
internationally recognised,” he said.
“He is one of the boldest and most fearless preachers in
Nigeria. On that basis, our office resolved to recognise him with an award of
excellence and to make him a partner of the zone.”
In response, Odumeje embraced the praise, describing himself
as a man who speaks with boldness.

“As far as this generation is concerned, I am the man who
speaks with boldness. The Bible makes it clear in 2 Timothy 1:7 that God has
not given us the spirit of fear but of power, boldness and a sound mind,” he
said.
“I have evidence for what I preach: proofs, facts,
realities, confirmations, and videos to back it up. I am a war, I am a fight, I
am a battle. I am the liquid metal. I am Indaboski.”
Odumeje has long been a figure of public controversy, rising
to fame through his unorthodox preaching style and claims of supernatural
abilities.
In 2024, he responded to critics who accused him of wielding
fake powers by boldly declaring himself “a liquid metal”.
