Controversial Islamic scholar, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, has urged Muslims to pray for Iran because the Islamic country is fighting a religious war.
Gumi characterized the struggle as one that the United
States, US, has waged against Iran on religious grounds.
Posting on X, the controversial cleric invoked divine
support, saying, “May Allah help America and its supporters.”
He wrote: “The war of Iran is a religious war that America
has fought, therefore all good Muslims should pray for Iran, may Allah help
America and its supporters.
“The comments of this hadith below in this video, People
used to ask the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, and l used to ask him
about evil fearing he might get me, so I said: 0 Messenger of Allah, we have
been in ignorance and evil, so Allah brought us with this good, is there any
evil after this good?
“He said, “No.” So said, “ls there any good after this evil?
He said: No, there is smoke in it. I said: And what did he smoke? He said:
“There are people who wait for me, and give guidance without my guidance, and
you know of them and deny” So I said: “Is there any good from evil after that?”
He said: “N’am, a call upon the gates of Hell, whom they
answered and they threw him into it. I said: “0 Messenger of Allah, describe
them for us.” He said: “O Prophet of Allah, rise from our skins, and they speak
with our tongues. I said: 0 Messenger of Allah, what do you think if I realize
this?”
