Governor Mai Mala Buni has distributed 17 brand new Honda vehicles to the newly elected All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmen of the state's 17 Local Government Areas.
The keys were handed over by Deputy Governor Idi Barde Gubana, who stated that the vehicles are provided to ease the chairmen's operations, strengthen grassroots mobilization, and help advance the ruling party's policies and programmes at the local level.
The Deputy Governor urged the beneficiaries to use the vehicles responsibly, avoid division or bitterness, unite party supporters, and remain alert to political opportunists.
He emphasized strict adherence to APC principles and close coordination with key state stakeholders in all activities.
State APC Chairman Alhaji Muhammad Gadaka thanked party leaders and stakeholders for their cooperation during the recent congresses.
He congratulated the new chairmen and called on them to repay the governor's gesture by working diligently to deliver strong APC performance in their local governments.
He issued a firm warning that the vehicles are strictly for official party duties and must never be sold or diverted for personal use.
