Nigerian gospel singer Judikay has announced the birth of her second child. She shared the news via her Instagram page on Friday, describing the baby as a gift from God.
“On the 14th of February 2026, we welcomed our second baby: Shekinah Umechukwu Opara; The Breath and Manifest Glory of the Lord. She is God’s literal love gift to us 😁🥰”
She also reflected on her faith.
“Have you seen the Lord fail?
Jesus has the final say (scratch that) ONLY say.”
Celebrating the birth, she described it as a moment of praise.
“We are raising this praise. RIWOTITO HALLELUJAH 🎶 so loud.
All Glory to Jesus.”
Recall that the singer recounted a heartbreaking moment when she suffered a miscarriage after being over three months pregnant.
She described the loss as “a pain that almost crushed me.”
According to her, what began as mild cramps and spotting escalated into heavy bleeding, forcing her to confront the loss, which she noted was her sixth miscarriage.
She also revealed she was rushed to the hospital, where doctors performed a D&C procedure due to what she described as a missed miscarriage.
Despite putting on a brave front afterwards, she admitted the emotional pain lingered, especially in private moments.
