The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, on Saturday paid a condolence visit to former Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, at his residence in Abuja.
Yilwatda visited to commiserate with El-Rufai over the death
of his mother, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai, who passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026,
in Cairo, Egypt, after a period of illness.
Several prominent
political figures have also visited El-Rufai to offer their condolences at his
Abuja residence.
Among those who have paid visits are Katsina State Governor
Dikko Umar Radda; former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; former Rivers State
Governor Rotimi Amaechi; former Attorney-General of the Federation Abubakar
Malami; and Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.
