Popular activist, Aisha Yesufu, has said the African Democratic Congress, ADC, has over 200 million Nigerians as supporters.
Yesufu, however, said that though the All Progressives
Congress, APC, has about 30 state governors, the ruling party can outspend the
ADC.
Featuring on Channels Television’s Politics Today on
Thursday, she admitted that the APC can outspend the ADC.
She said: “The ADC is not mincing words that when it comes
to money, the APC can outspend the ADC; definitely they can outspend us because
they have our coffers, our national wealth, at their disposal to do whatever it
is that they’re going to do with it.
“The one thing that I can tell you is they cannot outpassion
us.
“They have 30 governors, but we have over 200 and something
million Nigerians, minus the 30 governors and a few of the supporters that they
have.”
