Zenco, Obi Cubana, Cubana Chief Priest Donate Buses to City Boy Movement for Tinubu’s Re-Election

Prominent Igbo businessmen, led by billionaire entrepreneur Zenco (CEO of Zenco Group), have donated several brand-new buses valued at millions of naira to the City Boy Movement, a grassroots support group championing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bid for re-election in 2027.

The high-profile donation, which took place in the Southeast, involved at least six buses (with some reports describing them as 2026-model Hiace or Coaster buses) and saw participation from other notable figures such as Obi Cubana, Cubana Chief Priest, Enviable, and associates from C-Energy Oil.

The event was marked by expressions of strong confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership, with Zenco reportedly declaring the movement “unstoppable” and stating that the president “has no opposition in 2027.”

Cubana Chief Priest, who was actively present and shared footage from the gathering, emphasized the strategic importance of aligning with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), arguing that removing Tinubu from office would be “impossible” and urging supporters to set aside sentiments in favor of regional economic benefits.

The buses are intended to facilitate mobilization, grassroots campaigns, and empowerment rallies across the five Southeast states. Organizers of the City Boy Movement (also referred to as City Boys Movement Southeast or City Boy Media) have linked the donation to broader plans for community outreach, including potential distributions of items such as tricycles (keke napep), cars, laptops, POS machines, phones, cash prizes, and other support for youths and market women.
