2Baba, the ace Nigerian singer, and his wife, Natasha Osawaru, have dedicated their first child together in a church ceremony.
A now-viral video shows the couple joyfully dancing toward
the altar, with Osawaru cradling their baby. She wore a black gown and held the
infant, wrapped in a white blanket, while 2Babu moved to the rhythm in a
traditional red outfit and dark shades.
Family and friends joined the procession, celebrating
closely behind. At the altar, Osawaru handed the baby over for prayers.
News of the child’s birth first surfaced in November after a
Facebook page bearing Osawaru’s name announced the arrival of a baby boy.
The lovebirds tied the knot in July.
Their relationship became public shortly after 2Baba
announced his split from his estranged wife Annie Macaulay Idibia in January.
At the time, he clarified that his romance with the lawmaker was unrelated to
the breakup.
The ‘African Queen’ hitmaker proposed to Osawaru in
February. The relationship gained family approval in April when Natasha visited
Rose, 2Baba’s mother, who had previously spoken against the union.
The singer, born Innocent Idibia, had previously been in
relationships with Pero Adeniyi and Sumbo Ajala-Adeoye.
While Adeniyi has three children for 2Baba, Sumbo shares two
kids with the singer.
He also has two daughters with his estranged wife Annie.
