Former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, has arrived in Gombe State in preparation for the ongoing membership revalidation exercise of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The visit shows Pantami's continued engagement with the ruling party in his home state, as the APC conducts its nationwide electronic membership registration and revalidation drive. The exercise, which aims to modernize party records through digital means, has been rolled out across Gombe's 11 local government areas and 114 political wards.
Pantami's arrival comes amid his strong support for the party's grassroots efforts. Recently, he and his associates donated ₦45.25 million to bolster the e-registration process, providing logistical and operational assistance to the Gombe State APC chapter.
The funds were presented to the state party leadership, including Chairman Mr. Nittel L. Amangal, to facilitate smoother implementation of the digital initiative launched earlier this year.
The former minister's presence is seen by supporters as a demonstration of loyalty to the APC and active participation in strengthening the party's structure ahead of future political activities.
Pantami, a prominent figure from Gombe, has been actively involved in supporting the revalidation process, aligning with broader efforts to enhance party administration through technology.
